Our main thinking partner. Long-form writing, analysis, code review, strategic planning.

Best at nuanced, thoughtful work. Not great for quick factual lookups.

Claude Code

Daily driver

AI-powered development. Writes, refactors, and ships code across our entire portfolio.

Transformed how we build software. Genuinely 10x for shipping speed.

ChatGPT (OpenAI)

Daily driver

Good for quick lookups, image generation (DALL-E), and voice mode.

We use Claude for deep work and ChatGPT for quick tasks. Different tools, different jobs.

Perplexity

Occasional

AI-powered search. Faster than Google for research questions. Great citations.

We use it for fact-checking and competitive research. Not a daily habit yet, but getting there.

Cursor

Occasional

AI-native code editor. Useful for exploratory coding and quick prototypes.

Claude Code handles the heavy lifting. Cursor fills the gaps for visual debugging and exploration.

Recraft

Occasional

AI image generation with actual brand control. Exact hex colors via API, native SVG output.

~$0.04/image. Our go-to for visual content when we need brand-consistent output.

Vercel + Supabase

Infrastructure

Our deployment and database stack. Not AI tools per se, but AI-native.

Supabase has AI integrations, Vercel has AI SDK. The foundation everything else runs on.

The Philosophy

We don't chase every new tool. We pick what works for our actual daily tasks and stick with it until something genuinely better comes along. Most “new AI tools” are wrappers around the same models with a prettier UI. We'd rather go deep on fewer tools than shallow on everything.
